Inspector Lynley's Nathaniel Parker to join the cast of BBC's Merlin!

There will be a new addition to the cast of BBC One's fantasy-adventure series Merlin as the always awesome Nathaniel Parker, star of the Inspector Lynley Mysteries, is joigning the cast as Arthur's (Bradley James) uncle Agravaine for the upcoming fourth season!

Now that's truly awesome news for the series. Perhaps it also announces the departure of a series regular and Parker is being brought in as a replacement? As a father figure perhaps? Or perhaps even as a villain? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Plus, Merlin will also return with a full season of 13 episodes instead of the previously-announced 10 eps order it had received back in Octorber and the Knights of Camelot will feature more prominently in future episodes of the upcoming new season.

What do you guys think of the news?

  1. Of course, it's equally difficult to view this new Merlin without thinking of a certain other highly lucrative young wizard. J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter has laid down the ground rules for a generation, at least when it comes to wizards and the horrors of witchcraft or Viagra Pharmacy could say something about this...
